What this does is blow a huge hole in the Covid-pass. You can be vaxxed out your arse and still be shedding virus to everyone around you.

They often stated Covid is new...still is new and the science will be changing a lot as they learn more. Anyways, we argue before about this specific issue back early last year in the Pandemic...that the science will be changing a lot because of the Novel Coronavirus.

Anyways, I do remember a few medical Covid guests on CPAC Quebec and CNN stating they didn't expect life to return back to normal (if everybody co-operated) until maybe the end of 2021.

Well, we all know what happened next...people did not co-operate. Yet, I do remember a speech by Biden on national TV wanting a percentage vaccinated goal by July 4th (I think) in which people can gather in their homes with a small number of guests.

• CDC has been saying people should talk to their own Doctors. Therefore, it will be the Doctors responsibility to tell their clients if Vitamin D, Zinc, or any other over the counter prevention treatment is suitable.

By the way, my Doctor recommended Vitamin D and Zinc last May 2020 when I took my kids in for their physical. I responded...I've been taking them since my teenage years for my nutrition needs due to the demands on my body when I competed in sports (rowing/judo).

My brother (a Doctor in South Dakota) recommends Vitamin D, Zinc, and Vitamin C and so does my sister (a nurse) to family and friends. My point, if you're waiting for the CDC to do the things your Doctor should be doing... it's time for you to get a new Doctor.

Also, everybody knows that ethnic communities are hit hard by Covid...not just Hispanics and Blacks.

In my area...we're heavy with Québécois, Irish, Italians, and Indigenous Canadians. These are also the largest infected people with Covid. My girlfriend (a ICU nurse) has seen Covid patients that are the above-mentioned groups with other lesser percentages of German, Belgium, Portuguese, Jewish and Chinese.

She has only had one Hispanic patient but she said he was Black Hispanic (very dark-skinned). All the above ethnic communities.

Reality, people are assholes and not willing to do their part to get back to normal. Expecting the CDC to do everything for you...not good. If anything, just run the math if you don't trust the CDC.

I wouldn't listen to any news story about booster shots unless its specific to your region (not somewhere else). As the CDC person stated, Covid will be here most likely like the FLU shot...people will need to get a booster only when the efficacy of the current vaccines drops to a level that requires such.

Seriously, how long did it take North America to normalize Influenza (we typically only get the FLU vaccine every few years) or whenever there's an outbreak in the community you reside ?

Yet, most Doctors will say that we should get the FLU vaccine every year prior to the fall FLU season hitting us. How often do you bitch about getting the FLU shot every few years ???

Personally, I'm good with getting the FLU vaccine every two years. Maybe I will get it more often (yearly) as I get a little older.

P.S. In 1918 when the FLU Pandemic hit...try to guess how many times did science change from 1918 to 1920 involving the Influenza virus ???

People take the jab to protect their loved ones and themself.

I mention in my prior comment about ethnic communities. They are the population most likely to have a multi-family dwelling. Thus, if one person is infected...impossible to stay away from other family members unless you have a 2nd home that's nearby.

Just as important, people of color are most likely those that are the front-line workers and many underpaid. Tough pill to swallow when you're working one of the few jobs that are still open for business but you can not afford to take off from work due to illness (this was a big problem in 2020).

In case you're wondering, I said the same thing last year when Trump recommended drinking bleach or getting advice from a Doctor talking about demon sperm.
