As NewsBusters reported, former Florida governor Jeb Bush pounded public school activist Matt Damon in August for putting his kids in private school.
Damon gave CNN's Jake Tapper a rather lame excuse for this in an online segment of their interview Friday while claiming, "I'd eat my shoe if he could name a Bush that ever even walked into a public school"

Maybe Matt Damon wasn't old enough at the time to remember where Bush II was on 9/11.

Describing how he plans to govern once he takes office next year, the mayor-elect declared flatly that he doesnât believe in the free-market system.
At least Comrade Bill was being honest.
âEverything you heard about me is true. . . I am not a free-marketeer. . . I believe in the heavy hand of government,â de Blasio stated matter-of-factly during an hour-long presentation to some of the cityâs biggest real-estate developers...

A public school in Cumberland County, Tennessee recently changed their after school pickup policy, asking parents to allow their children to walk home from school without adult supervision and banning parents from escorting their own children home on foot.
One resident, Jim Howe, decided to defy this policy and pick his children up from school anyway, citing Tennesseeâs law requiring public school to turn children back over to their parents after school hours.
The deputy and school superintendent didnât like Mr. Howeâs defiance of the school policy and arrested him. Note that at no point does Mr. Howe ever act disorderly. He never raises his voice. He certainly never gets physical. Howe simply insists on walking his children home from school, and for that, he was arrested.
Ah the liberal mindset.
