I will note that if you travel 25 miles outside of Toronto you will basically be in an area with a non-diverse 99%+ white population.

You're so focused on skin color you miss everything else. Skin color alone is rarely the motivation for human violence. The distinction of French Canadians is an important one in Canada, one they themselves want, and continues to produce conflict.
