Tiger makes Nike hundreds of millions in golf gear so I understand why they did not drop him. I like Kapernik. Whether you agree with him or not, he found an effective way to send his message. It’s a message that he genuinely feels strongly about.

Nike has a history of supporting their athletes. I can’t find the article now but there was a nice article (on Bloomberg I think) where they showed all the unpopular things Nike did in support of their athletes.

Really, which facts did I disagree with? None. Idiots buy 100 or 150 dollar Nike sneakers, those who lack self confidence. Anyone who is a smart saver and investor would not waste that amount of money on a pair of sneakers. Anyone who could not care less about money would never buy Nikes to start with. If you buy brand new 150 dollar Nike sneakers then I honestly think you are stupid. It's a good question, what exactly is his message? If he's protesting police brutality why not kneel in front of a police station? Lets look at this specific to Kapernick himself. What is everyone talking about? Police brutality? No. We're talking about flags and now shoes, and ultimately everyone is talking about Kapernick, which is what this was all about from the jump, him and his washed up career. How to be a media whore 101.
