CNN: Why single payer health care is a terrible option

I'm not seen evidence for this statement , so I wouldn't be qualified to comment further on this or several of your other, what seem to me to be, rather wild and unfounded statements. The President has made racist statements. And some consider him a racist. I myself am convinced from his rhetoric and past actions that he isn't the kind of leader our nation needs. Worse yet, He acts like a buffoon and is an embarrassment to the nation. To me he seems devoid of any guiding principles, so I personally couldn't characterize his politics as left, right or center. All we can say with certainty that he is a liar devoid of ethical or moral guideposts. He has personally encouraged violence at some of his political rallies. These are facts you can look up if you are so inclined.

As I have stated, I am not certain precisely what it is that the football players are currently protesting. The Kaepernick event followed the trouble in Ferguson, didn't it? I assume it was related to that. I am assuming now that current events are also related to similar problems created by police abuse and/or the Alt Right movement being promoted by one of the President's associates. It is possible that they are also protesting the President's racist behavior. I hope so anyway.

The point I have made over and over, and I'll make it again for you. Those young men are protesting something that, so far as I can tell, has nothing to do with disrespect for those in our military.

Respect has to be earned. If you're doing something that causes people to disrespect you, you had better take notice and change your ways, or there will be trouble for you and your kind. Those young men, whatever it is they are protesting, are doing someone, or some group of people, a favor by putting them on notice. I hope the people or person their protests are directed at will pay attention and respond in a productive way. I hope you are not one of those who needs to take note.

Google is your friend on this one, try googling "Is it ok to punch a nazi" and there is literally dozens of articles from left wing sites debating whether or not its ok to beat the shit out of someone who disagrees with you, and when the left is painting every single person who disagrees with them as a nazi, by Proxi the media is now telling people it is ok to physically assault Trump supporters, why do you think we have violent mobs outside of all of Trumps rallies assaulting the people who are going there? Why do you think there is more than a dozen violent rallies now from the far left at Berkley all because people want to make a speech.

This shouldnt even be a fucking debate, IT IS NOT OK TO PHYSICALLY ASSAULT SOMEONE FOR TALKING NO MATTER HOW OFFENSIVE.

Its some what ironic seeing as how they are labelling Ben Shapiro, an orthodox Jew, and Milo Yanoppolous a gay jew who likes black dudes, as nAZIS......

I guess you are buying into the bullshit the far left media is selling hook line and sinker, since you now think that the debate over kneeling in front of the flag is a "White nationalist" argument, i would have thought you were smarter than that, and not someone who just parrots MSM bullshit, but apparently not.

Do you think the media owns this one?

If they want to protest its fine, but dont try to claim its somehow racist when people get pissed off when people shit all over the flag and the anthem, the ravens kneeled for the star spangled banner and then stood up for god save the queen in london, do you not realise how offensive that is to people? The majority of the country is not on your side, these guys are free to protest where ever they want, but shitting on the country that made them rich just pisses people off, and rightfully so, it has nothing to do with race.

Ok, have it your way. We'll have no respect for either NFL players or blacks and their kind until they take notice and change their ways.

Bunch of overpaid maggots out on the field who are quick to get self-righteous about something in furgeson but are slow to take a knee to speak out against all the girlfriend beaters and drug dealers in their midst. The NFL environment is now just a cesspool. They want to be like Kopernick? - good. You want fries with that?

If you really want to know why so many NFL players are so upset with the police. They don't want to be accountable for these actions, below.
The database is at http://nflarrest.com/

There are currently 1,696 NFL players, and they average an arrest, every 7 days.

I've worked at companies that employ over 2,000 employees, and all 2,000+ can go 12 months, without a single arrest.

Just 2 of the 3 recent examples with NFL arrests:
36 days ago - Michael Bowie allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by the neck during an argument and threw her to the ground. He then allegedly broke two TVs and caused other property damage.
37 days ago - Sean Smith charged with felony assault for incident in Pasadena, Calif., on July 4. Accused of stomping on head of sister's boyfriend.

"You still have that right, I hope, to protest NFL players who are protesting. Maybe armbands as suggested by gwb-trading. How about pink armbands?"

Pink is normally associated with a campaign regarding breast cancer.

I'm interested in discussing the right of people to peacefully protest what they believe are injustices or wrong policies of their government. I am not interested, at the moment anyway, in the other topics and anecdotes you've brought up, but perhaps others here will be.

That's what Charlottesville was. A group who lawfully assembled to protest a govt action.

Antifa showed up in masks to stop them. And the gov't took the side of the goons wearing masks. In my opinion the gov't has lost their right to govern.

I agree. There is something going on here that we ought to be very concerned about. Peaceful demonstration, regardless of whether we agree with the demonstrators or not, is one thing. Demonstrations that morph into violence are something else entirely.
