CNN: First charges filed in Mueller investigation

Funny that this attack comes from a guy who has never made a useful comment about trading in his entire time on this site.

I make my trading comments on NP or Wilmott, if I was interested in discussing MACDs and Pitchforks for trading, I'd rather go back to coding.

But I noticed you didn't point out any logical errors in my comment, wonder why.

Not saying it won't, but why do you think that?

It's been my limited experience that the market doesn't like uncertainty, much less political. I reckon a downturn on speculation as to who will be charged or how close to potus they could be.

Forget about any noise on impeachment at this point, I think the implication that his associates could be charged may be enough to sway political capital away from Trump, making some of his reforms unpalatable.

Might need to wake up early and check out financials and defense. I'd hate to set shallow stops, but I had a good day Friday and gotta protect that moola.

If Trump team appointed a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary the media would tear him to shreds and say hes a dictator trying to put his political opponents in jail, you would be the first partisan hack on this site spamming one article after another about how trump is a third world despot.

So the guy who doesn't care at all what the media says or does is not doing one thing he promised during the campaign because of the media?

And you are considerate about what me or liberals will post on political forums?

People who never cared what the opposition says is suddenly considerate on this one issue.

Right.

Believer it or not, what you’re suggesting could mean manafort was actually operational for Russian intelligence rather than just colluding to benefit his client, Trump. Which would be a whole ‘nother bomb.

But, we will know more when we see the perfected charges (if it is Manafort being charged). I maintain his goose is cooked in the long run.

Yup. there are multiple charges to be considered so they cannot all be addressed in posts.

Same with Flynn. He has problems on the failing to register thing, but the justice department and the state department are also on his arse for allegedly colluding with the Turkish opposition to help in the return of the opposition leader from the u.s. to help with a coup. I don't know about all that. If they have evidence, go for it. if they don't, don't,

Either way as you say mannaforte and Flynn and podesta have problems of various sorts and to varying degrees. However, it is also true, that either way it is unlikely that any of this translates into criminal problems for trump or presents any impeachable offense WHICH, AFTER ALL, IS WHAT THE WHOLE WITCH HUNT IS ALL ABOUT. NOR DOES IT SHOW THAT THE ELECTION WAS SWAYED BY IT WHICH IS ALSO WHAT THE DEMS WANT OUT OF ALL THIS.

Ding dong staff and affiliates of both dem and republican persuasions are going to take hits. That's a given and that's fine.

Id be willing to donate a thousand bucks to a charity of your choice if you can make 2 weeks worth of profitable trading calls(atleast 10 trades in advance), post them on my journal if you want hows that for a logical error. You have nothing to lose step up big boy, Ive never met someone who was successful who was as angry as you are, maybe you are the outlier. :D

The fact that your focused on MACD and pitchforks tells me all i need to know. :D

Again, where is the 100+ million dollars coming from?

This allegation is all over the internet but there is no source. The only source is that the Clinton Foundation did receive donations from some people associated with uranium one, or whatever that company’s name is. I have investments too, you can associate me with all kinds of people. That doesn’t mean I’m taking bribes.
It's a timing issue. Very suspicious that so much money came from people associated with the deal at the specific time it was being given the green pass. You seriously think that Hillary deleting 30K was just a casual oversight? How naive can (liberal) people be?

More BS.

There is a three year difference between the donations and the CFIUS approval of the deal which she wasn't even in charge of.

And wtf has emails got to do with any of this.

How delusional and disingenuous can Cons be.

Sure, link me to your thread.

And I wasn't focused on MACD or pitchforks, my point is that I have no interest in discussing unscientific methods for trading - and that doesn't mean I am an egghead who uses that nonsense either. I tried posting on Big Mike's forum for a while but they have their own delusions about 'order flow' which is now the current fad. The only good trading discussions I had were on Neoticker forums and that place is dead now sadly.

Also, I try to have reasonable conversations but the moment namecalling starts, I am not the one to hold back.

specious garbage... all the way through...
so I will address one point...
and before you usual leftist bullshit about the source... address the facts and whether they are true or not.

http://freebeacon.com/columns/gas-attack/

He’s not alone. His 2012 Wall Street Journal op-ed making the case for natural gas was coauthored with Tom Steyer, the hedge-fund billionaire who is quickly becoming one of the most powerful men in the Democratic Party. Steyer is known mainly for his opposition to the Keystone Pipeline, and for his recent pledge to raise and spend $100 million on behalf of Democrats in this year’s elections. According to Reid Wilson, liberal donors such as Steyer "aren’t going to realize a profit if their chosen candidates win." This is not true.

Steyer pledged to remove himself from the operations of his hedge fund, Farallon Capital Management, in the waning days of 2012, when he was being considered as a possible secretary of Energy in the second Obama administration. But he remains an "outside limited partner" with the firm, and the "bulk" of his billion-dollar fortune is parked there. As of 2012, when Steyer was supporting Democrats, donating millions to Podesta’s Center for American Progress, and otherwise championing natural gas over other forms of energy, Farallon held more than $7 million in shares of gas technology company Fuel Systems Solutions. He was making plenty of money from the Obama administration’s championing of natural gas.

As of the end of 2013, Farallon also held close to $40 million in Kinder Morgan, which is building a competitor to the Keystone Pipeline. When Farallon’s position in Kinder Morgan was exposed last summer—after the Keystone debate had been raging for years—Steyer pledged to sell his share of the stock and donate the profits to charity. Last September, it was revealed that Steyer had backed a UT study on hydraulic fracturing, which showed that the process does not result in dangerous methane emissions. As far as I can determine, Steyer remains an adviser to and backer of EFW Partners, a "global investor in the basic resources critical for economic growth: energy, food, and water." I wonder whether EFW is short or long on LNG.

So Guestra sold off his company in 2007, donated to Clinton Foundation in 2009 - a year before the Uranium deal even started to happen and that means he gave the money to 'support the business' because of a clause that you can't even cite

Secondly, why would Russians give 100 million dollars to Clintons for 0.4% of world's uranium production which they can't even use and are actually net exporters? Tell me the business sense since you talked about supporting business.

Thirdly, why would they need to bribe Clintons by so much when the decision by the US government was unanimous? Do you have any evidence that Clintons got involved in influencing other members of CFIUS?

And Steyer has donated hundreds of millions to green causes, he is not lying about donating like your dear leader. Where is your proof that he got rich of oil? More BS and lies like your fake ass peer reviewed paper. Guy spends over 400 million for environmental causes but some Trump University graduate thinks that doesn't count because he says so.

Mueller’s focus on Trump is most likely obstruction of justice.

The other Trump staff, not Podesta, is where the collusion aspects are Mueller’s likely targets.

I doubt Mueller is looking at the impact of the Russian interference but I think we will ultimately get a run down of what they did and why. But, to argue there was no impact and did not help sway the election to Trump is naive.
