CNN: First charges filed in Mueller investigation

Sure, link me to your thread.

And I wasn't focused on MACD or pitchforks, my point is that I have no interest in discussing unscientific methods for trading - and that doesn't mean I am an egghead who uses that nonsense either. I tried posting on Big Mike's forum for a while but they have their own delusions about 'order flow' which is now the current fad. The only good trading discussions I had were on Neoticker forums and that place is dead now sadly.

Also, I try to have reasonable conversations but the moment namecalling starts, I am not the one to hold back.

Which section of the forum would I find this in? Programming?

It's a timing issue. Very suspicious that so much money came from people associated with the deal at the specific time it was being given the green pass. You seriously think that Hillary deleting 30K was just a casual oversight? How naive can (liberal) people be?

Under the federal records act government officials can use their personal email for business but must turn over all business related emails. That’s the law. We are not entitled to her personal emails. The trump administration engages in this practice as well, btw.

Timing is suspicious. The only problem is there is no evidence of timing because like I said before there is no source on the 145 million dollar claim.

Just so we are clear on this deal applies if you make two weeks worth of trading calls in advance, meaning you call entry target, stopout before the trade, and no quitting if your first 2 calls are profitable and calling that a win.

Edit: actually you dont have to call target and stop out in advance but have to call them out in real time. Other than a general number i usually dont have hard stops or targets.

specious garbage... all the way through...
so I will address one point...
and before you usual leftist bullshit about the source... address the facts and whether they are true or not.

He’s not alone. His 2012 Wall Street Journal op-ed making the case for natural gas was coauthored with Tom Steyer, the hedge-fund billionaire who is quickly becoming one of the most powerful men in the Democratic Party. Steyer is known mainly for his opposition to the Keystone Pipeline, and for his recent pledge to raise and spend $100 million on behalf of Democrats in this year’s elections. According to Reid Wilson, liberal donors such as Steyer "aren’t going to realize a profit if their chosen candidates win." This is not true.

Steyer pledged to remove himself from the operations of his hedge fund, Farallon Capital Management, in the waning days of 2012, when he was being considered as a possible secretary of Energy in the second Obama administration. But he remains an "outside limited partner" with the firm, and the "bulk" of his billion-dollar fortune is parked there. As of 2012, when Steyer was supporting Democrats, donating millions to Podesta’s Center for American Progress, and otherwise championing natural gas over other forms of energy, Farallon held more than $7 million in shares of gas technology company Fuel Systems Solutions. He was making plenty of money from the Obama administration’s championing of natural gas.

As of the end of 2013, Farallon also held close to $40 million in Kinder Morgan, which is building a competitor to the Keystone Pipeline. When Farallon’s position in Kinder Morgan was exposed last summer—after the Keystone debate had been raging for years—Steyer pledged to sell his share of the stock and donate the profits to charity. Last September, it was revealed that Steyer had backed a UT study on hydraulic fracturing, which showed that the process does not result in dangerous methane emissions. As far as I can determine, Steyer remains an adviser to and backer of EFW Partners, a "global investor in the basic resources critical for economic growth: energy, food, and water." I wonder whether EFW is short or long on LNG.

So you claim that he made his fortune of dirty oil and then link to just two paltry investments where made less than 5 million of his 3 billion fortune? And I am being generous here, his Kinder Morgan investments made by the fund gave him a 1.7 million profit in a heavily diversified fund. This is your basis for saying that he made his money from oil? Really?

Also assuming he has a profit motive with his environmental causes - what kind of a person spends 400 million dollars for some uncertain future payoff?

Public records filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission show that Steyer invested in fossil fuels at multiple points over the years, with Farallon buying shares of oil, coal and natural gas firms. Investments included BP and mining companies in the United States and around the world. Farallon’s second-largest holding in September 2012, a month before Steyer announced his departure, was a $220 million investment in the oil-and-gas giant Nexen.

An early point of tension between his drive for profits and his liberal ideology came a decade ago, when Steyer and his wife were caught off guard by Yale students’ push — which quickly spread to other college campuses — to protest their school’s investments in Farallon funds.

Calling their group “Un-Farallon,” the students pointed to allegations that companies in which Farallon invested had used unfair labor practices and fouled the environment. Public demonstrations included a giant papier-mache globe being smashed by a woman wearing a sign that said “My name is Farallon Capital Management.”

The protests embarrassed Steyer and his wife, Kat Taylor, who were major donors to Democratic causes. They began to wonder if, and when, they might bring their business interests in line with their values.

I got my info from WaPo itself - you claimed that he made his fortune from oil companies which is a complete exaggeration. He ran a diversified hedge fund and some of his profits were from energy companies. If he wanted to make money off his green cred, he could have gone Tesla way or simply invest in green companies which are hot right now. He doesn't need to spend 20% of his fortune advocating for a cause which will not give him any material return.

If Trump team appointed a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary the media would tear him to shreds and say hes a dictator trying to put his political opponents in jail, you would be the first partisan hack on this site spamming one article after another about how trump is a third world despot.

True dat.

That is why I am somewhat of a mixed mind over this business of appointing a special prosecutor for the dems. Make no mistake about it though- I want one and NOW.

But as much as I am frustrated with Jeff Sessions being a worthless tit, to be honest I would like to see the House Committee appoint the special investigator for all the reasons you mentioned. And -at least at the talky-talky level in the House (I mean, like, what else do they do) there is some movement in that direction. Man, that would be supah though. I might get caught shamelessly self-stimulating in public if that should happen.

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—A crowd estimated in the hundreds of thousands has gathered outside the office of Robert Mueller in eager anticipation of the special counsel’s first arrest in the Russia probe.

Minutes after news was leaked that charges had been filed, Americans from across the country descended on Mueller’s office to witness firsthand what many called the beginning of the end of the nightmare.

“I can’t believe this day has finally come,” Carol Foyler, who drove from North Carolina, said. “My husband is having surgery today, but I didn’t want to miss this.”

heh. Demotards are not the brightest bunch. But they don't work during the day for the most part so why not show up. It's either that or watch the Price Is Right all day like Hillary.
