If you agree, then there is no need to debate. A key ingredient of gun control is about effective law enforcement, both before and during the incident. This Sheriff is directly responsible for the breakdown in effective gun control in this particular situation - as is the FBI.

Federal Bureau of Incompetence doesn't bother to respond to clear signals, and the school is 45 acres with one armed person who never showed up, and no controlled security for entrance to the school- so they want to change the gun laws for the entire country to compensate.

The FBI changes side arms fairly frequently, mostly semi auto hi capacity mags now; I saw a cool NRA article about that. I prefer a S&W stainless steel .357 6 shooter myself.

Holy cow, what an asinine CNN special. "Full Semi-Automatic??" So many stupid and incorrect comments. Love the movie trailer voice in the beginning "This...is what an AR15 sounds like...."

I think what he's saying is we should be throwing braggarts in jail for making threats even if a crime hasn't been committed.

That or relax judicial rights and tail the tens of thousands of people who are reported to the FBI at tax payers expenses on the off chance they snap.

Unless it's something more sensible like "you threaten the physical integrity of someone, we'll take your 2nd amendment away."
