Fractals/channels nest and trends overlap. True.
That's why entering at the beginning of the day and from there on only continuously reversing at the beginning of the next trend makes more sense than entry-exit trading.
But how do you know that you didn't (unintentionally) jump fractals? How do you know that you drew the channels correctly? Probably volume will tell you and Jack will soon explain how.
An example which needs some "improvements"...

Great question! Regrettably, I don't have an answer for you but maybe Jack, or someone else, could enlighten us both.
The broad strokes of your attached chart looked similar to mine. I, too, was anticipating a dominant move to your red LTL at or shortly after the open this morning to complete the sequences.
About 15 seconds into bar 5 that "anticipation" was invalidated (to me) by PRV and during bar 5 the bar's high (gap adjusted) reached higher than your anticipated container's pt 1 (which as we know is not possible).
From a trading perspective, no pt 3 developed so there wasn't (for me) a point to go short and early in bar 5 (for me) clearly "long" was the right side of the market.
From a monitoring (chart annotation) perspective, the first several bars have me thinking WTF? How can this move possibly "fit" into the nested fractals (without redrawing, in hindsight, yesterday's chart)?

This is an important observation. Our strokes/lines/channels should NOT look similar. They should look the SAME! As long as we look at the same chart/data.
A lot of charts from the past looked to me like they had the lines drawn pretty arbitrarily (especially gaussian). Everybody had their own version (based on their understanding). Only recently Jack introduced the idea of gating or killing volume and to identify every volume bar with precision. This will hopefully bring further confidence in what you have on the chart and where you are in the sequence.
