when I ws in high school in Morristown, N. J., I ws driven weekly to the ceenter for Advanced Study at Princeton N. J., a small town with an inn and a college (No girls).
Two of my friends (brothers had a Dad working there, he ws building the firestone library. we took tennis rackets and used hem as "Tommy Guns" to place on the construction sight. College kids wanted to play too.
anyway, at CAS we got to meet staff. One of them told us what relativity was. we believed him since he didn't comb his hair or change his jacket much. He had an accent too.
Other guys when nuts with beakers. One day one of them had an orange and a black beaker. He said at Yale they could eliminate the orange and black. He did by poubri89ng in one liquid into both beakers and they did change to blue and white. His last name began with an "A".
relativity is how most things work.
One thing along usually just dies.
We learned about independnet variables and dependent variables. Very neatly there is a relativity in terms of deprendency.
I can't wait until a Quant discovers price is a dependent variable.
In these classes people go to and do homework for, it seems like the principles get swept under the flooring.
I can tell you my instuctors and Profs remembered me.
Once I gave a speech at NSF to all the awardees. afterwrds some came to where I sat. both the RPI Profs shook hands and guaranteed to me that they remembered me. LOL One was an ecomomist and the other was a theorteticl physist.
