There is only one rule which binds all those who self-identify as christian, since they cannot agree on any other rule which makes them christian:

Rule #1) You must deny that you are Christ (Divine).

Rule #2) refer to rule #1

In doing so, you actually do not follow Jesus' example. By not following, you haven't learned anything from Jesus either. So you are disqualified twice over.

And so, by your own vague definition, do not qualify.

It's an indisputable fact that self describing christians all agree on denying they are Christ(Divine), unlike Jesus, who accepted his Divinity. This despite being unable to agree on pretty much everything else about securing a place in the hereafter. Because of this contrast, the disagreement vs the agreement, it's arguable that denying ones own divinity defines what self-describing christians are all about. It should be abundantly evident they do this, deny it, in contradiction to Jesus own example. And so, it should be obvious they do not follow him and haven't learned from him. Learning from others, just because they've written down their erroneous opinions in books, on parchment, or on lambskin, is not an excuse.

It's worse than that. If only you just refused to follow Jesus own example and went on with your experience of hell. No, you must also misrepresent Jesus and pretend to be mouthpieces for Christ. The main misrepresentation is this claim that Jesus combined Divinity and humanity into one homogeneous entity. Jesus never claimed his humanity was Divine, but you do, because by association, you are trying to make your humanity Divine . Thereafter, all your association is about saving your humanity to have it perpetuated forever. You really don't give a damn about Jesus, nor about Christ. You care about your own life, as humanity. You are using Jesus, his accomplishments, and Christ name, to further your own agenda.

The disagreements among the Amish go to illustrate what I've just said. These disagreements arise out of the basic desire to save themselves, and secure a place for their own skin in a hereafter. No one gives a damn about saving Christ from humanity.

All of the regulations described by this formerly old order Amish come down to what is required for you and your humanity to be saved and 'go to heaven". Arguably, popular christianity is about meeting a set of requirements that secure your own salvation. Satan and his helpers do not want you to know the truth that

B) Market the object
C) Employ the finest sales team
D) Prove the world they need the object

F) Prove to the world the object works flawlessly

A) Manufacture Jesus. Ok lets leave that in the too hard basket for a moment it could be said Jesus is manufactured in the imagination.
B) Market Jesus, yes can't deny that.

D) Prove we need Jesus. Just hearsay from the motley crew.

F) Prove Jesus works flawlessly, prayers to Jesus are 50/50 coin toss events.
All religions pray and they all claim the same success rate, there is nothing exclusive about christianity other than being the most marketed and thriving business scam.

Same bullshit, just different wording. The content of the asking is all that matters. Selfish requests or stupid requests like "please forgive me for the sin I soon intentionally plan on committing". The Bible clearly teaches that everything that is being asked in his name will be answered. The timing is not specified and all bible scholars are in full agreement that "asking in his name" means to ask for things in accordance with his will. Asking to dump yourself off a tower naked and be saved is as a stupid a request as one could dream up. That is why Jesus did not give in to Satan tempting Jesus to ask his father to spare him from dying for the sins of the world.
