If memory serves, we've had romaine lettuce recalls each year for the past 3. In that time, have not heard of a cow recall. Or pork, or chicken, or fish. etc etc.

Sugar is the killer, in the end.
 
I really liked that book. That's when I really started saving and investing, and...it works! I get it, but at your age (I'm 63) it may be YOLO time!

Still have my Chevy Colorado I bought new in 2005. Read "The Millionaire Next Door"...That's me!! It was on the New York Times best seller list for months. It's over 25 years old...But it still applies.

I'm doing well, should have died 10 years ago. I use to be 300 pounds...Over 14 years ago I had gastric bypass (RVY). I'm about #208 at this time (5'11"). I eat pretty good...Just not getting the exercise because of the air quality here in California.

Congrats on the weight loss.
IMO, diet is far more important than exercise for good health.
