Absolutely not, this is a big fat lie largely popularized by the medical cartel and BIG Pharma.
As far as diseases are concerned, the impact of genetics is less than 3%, the rest (97%) comes largely from (mal)nutrition, stress and toxins/chemicals found in our "modern" food and beverage.
All these negative elements weaken our immune system and, in the long run, create all kinds of seemingly unrelated diseases, including but not limited to, cardio-vascular problems, cancers, diabetes, hypertension, depression, Alzheimer, anxiety, brain fog, etc...
