Bright Desk Fees?

Quote from Bullet:

All i am saying is that one, if they are truthful and confident, should not be afraid to lift the cloak from their face when confronting someone. Your points on the public's focus on personality rather than truth are well taken, and are certainly true, to a point. But In this room, and on this site I would hope we are not the average idiot off the street, but rather a civil and hardworking group of traders

However, if your (777) main purpose is to generate controversy and ellicit reactions from Don and the like, I would suggest that your time could potentially be better spent else where. Either way, I am for honesty in all arenas

How quickly things get off track, as is the way of a sales and marketing professional.

The points have been clearly stated from my side, and Don offered up a debate.

The focus shifted away from the issues to personalities.

Is that surprising? Not to me.

It is what politicians, salesmen, confidence men, attorneys, marketing experts do for a living.

Misdirection is very powerful, and works well on the untrained eye.

Don didn't answer the question I posted a while back, in big bold RED letters, or did everyone but me get too distracted to notice?

The issue shifted from Bright to my identity....very interesting, eh?

Notice how Don is now absent from the process?

Perhaps he has one of his aliases or "partners" doing the work for him?

If people lose sight of what really happened and is happening, what can be done?

Quote from Bullet:

I would bet Don is trading. I have taken the afternoon off, what is your excuse

Excuse? I just want to get the questions I asked answered.

Apparently I am the only one who is interested in the answers...at least among those who are posting on this thread of late...who knows what the audience is thinking?

sdtrader ......CIVILITY!! But that is, I guess, up to you.
I agree, I was being a bit harsh. Just got off of a college football mssg board where the smack is totally out of control. I guess I didn't bring myself back enough.
But the jist is still true. This is the same tired rhetoric everyone was witness to last summer and the agenda still hasn't changed. Bash Bright. It is OLD!

Quite right! I bash Don just as he bashes so many in the industry and so many of his nameless competitors when his firm and his tactics are brought into question.

Agreed sdtrader.

I would love a calm and civil debate in which traders and or reps from a handfull of firms debated and justified their firms' strucutures (i.e. commissions, fee structures, clearing policies, etc). It would also be interesting if the reps from said firms would include phone numbers and extensions for others to contact them. Just a thought. Maybe all for not

Interesting, I would have definately pegged you to be a two wrongs don't make a right kind of guy.

So we are in agreement that it is "wrong" for one of the "good guys" to be bashing his competitors.....the way Don does?

I never said I disagreed, just that it is a useless arguement, and you seem to want to rehash it time and time again. Who cares what Don says, I certainly don't. I think you need to realize you are not the only one that can "think" for themselves and relax. I just don't see why you get so damn worked up over this subject. Let it rest.
