Breaking: PHOTOS RELEASED of Suspect Michael Brown ROBBING STORE Before Shooting

None of that matters. The kid was in police custody, unarmed. He wasn't mace'd, he wasn't pepper sprayed, he wasn't tazed, he wasn't held down by four or five cops and choked to death, he was shot dead.

He was not in custody. He and his fellow perp were shoving the cop back into his car. Sorry, but that kind of aggressive behavior, involving a 300 pound guy, should allow the cop to defend himself. I seriously doubt the cop could have physically restrained 2 guys simultaneously. Sad that the guy died but he chose to be the aggressor, not once (first with the store clerk), but twice. Being a thug didn't pay off here.

And what was Martin guilty of?

According to witnesses, Martin was on top of Zimmerman, raining down punches. Since it wasn't a mixed martial arts event, there was no ref to stop it. People get beaten severely like that on the street, sometimes killed.

This case is irrelevant to your contention that police are not trained to shoot center mass.

That's not what I said, which is why I mentioned Graham v Connor. I asked if it was universal, which is not the same as saying that police are not trained to shoot "center mass" at all.

Wasn't Zimmerman armed and following him?
