finally, my point on the stabbed in the back theory is, that
hindenburg and ludendorff would have send a division back

Tolerance cannot tolerate intolerance. This is a truth I find hard to tolerate. Guess im intolerant. In politics & religion I think everything should be tolerated.
 
I've seen a lot of threads that should of been moved from various forums on ET to chitchat but I've never seen one that should be moved from feedback to chitchat!

the important thing is that bannig revisionism does not
mean to tolerate stalinism. if someone entered here
and said stalin was a super nice guy and killed no one
and so forth the effect would probably be the same. this
guy would get banned. yet, the funny thing is that
hardly anyone would believe stalin was nice guy in the
first place. or take the korean guy and start a thread
praising his deeds and how badly he is treated.

if i fell over a thread that starts with: "proof that blacks
are stupid" and the author would come up with topics
alike i would try to get him banned.

posts like yours tend to imprint the myth that holocaust
is seen as bad while every other massmurder or
racial injustice is not. and this is simply not the case.
and there are many posters who offer some antisemitism
here and there. as well as people do with blacks. no
big deal. just, this revisionist thing got obviously out
of hand last week.
 
reading some of the posts here, i guess the only way yanks can understand "genocide" - ie what happened to jews, armenians and dozens of other human groups over the ages - is if it happens to them... no wonder bin laden gets so much support in a way... sad but, if there is no other way, after all... am sure he is even getting support from some jewish groups :-))))))) here they are again, 'em bastidz!!!

There are dozens of threads all over this forum that attack Blacks, Indians, Muslims, Mexicans, etc... It's equally easy to find threads full of posters trying to justify slavery. Now, is this wrong to tolerate? I don't think so. Freedom of speech should always be tolerated as the strongest arguments will always come out on top. I don't see any problem with posters being attacked for holding an extreme world view. If you want to be controversial, then expect to be attacked on it.

What is morally injustifiable is the banning of members who never attacked Jews as a race, but rather criticised the religion. These people are slandered as Nazis simply for having an opinion that is different. No one is asking the leadership of this forum to become a revisionist or to develop any sympathy for the Nazis or any other group. I don't see any topics on the forum where "Heil Hitler" is shouted, so I think it's wrong to categorize revisionists as Nazis. Do you know that there are several Jewish revisionists? Michael Hoffman II, who might have contributed more to revisionism than Ernst Zundel or Irving ever have, is one of them.
