Baking soda against fatigue

Last night I took ZMA for sleep. Didn't do shit for sleep, but I am not sore today after yesterday's workout. This is the other supposed benefit of ZMA.

So yesterday I tried something different. After playing tennis I did the following:

1. I took a hot bath and massaged my leg muscles.
2. I sprayed Mg on my legs both before (1 hour) and after the bath.
3. I took extra (double the usual) Mg and Potassium, thus probably replenished the electrolytes.

Now this morning I feel pretty good, my legs are tired but no muscle soreness.

I guess this ends the baking soda experiment...

I highly recommend a bowl of strawberries, two bananas, vitamine C and an ice water bath followed by a good massage instead of Baking Soda.

I have used baking soda feet bath after a very long hike (+20 miles) in the past...it's a miracle recovery for your feet...something I learned in the military.

Thx for the feet bath info. I'm a long time runner and sometimes my dogs can bark pretty loud.

So is water if you drink too much. You do realize millions of people take it everyday for stomach problems?

I did mention switching to other methods (Mg, ZMA), so I am done with the baking soda, although I wonder about its timing, like using it right before or after exercise.

How To Use Coca Tea The Right Way

This coca and bi carb paste needs to stay inside the mouth for at least 40 minutes. You will actually feel it working. You can swallow some of the saliva that accumulates inside the mouth, however, do not swallow the coca/bi carb paste.

If you swallow the coca paste too soon or before the 40 minute mark, the energy boosting effects will start to wear off faster.

You can always re-dose by adding another 5 grams of coca leaf powder along with 300 mg of sodium bicarbonate and placing it under the tongue. This will increase your energy levels and boost your mental focus even more, as the longer you “chew”, the more coca tea will keep you energized.

Eating too much food in a short time span can be dangerous too.

In fact, just about anything swallowed can be dangerous when it exceeds a certain level when it becomes toxic to a person's body. :rolleyes:
