Meanwhile, the conservatives continue to confuse homosexuals with pedophiles. And they continue to defend a pedophile, by using the typical lines like "your side was worse," or "you shouldn't use this for your political gain (don't criticize us or we could lose the election)."

The only post by a conservative who showed any disgust, was on the fact that Foley preyed on boys instead of girls. To this "family values" advocate, preying on teenage girls would be just fine.

Anyway, I don't know of many people here who are saying that having illegal sex, i.e. sex with children is okay...

By the way, are you going to blame the left for the disaster in the state of marriages and families in the US, where 50% fail, and 75% report cheating on their spouses, not to even mention domestic violence, etc. I'm guessing the majority of those failures happen in Christian homes, with a large percentage being republicans....

its incredible how both parties use this as a political move...it doesnt matter who that fag hag represented...it only matters that he stepped down and should be further investigated and punished to the fullest extent if can be...who the hell cares what hapaboy thinks of the left or Zzzzz thinks of the right...all that matters is what pabst will do when $spx hits 1348.

One of the strategies of the Republican defenders of Foley is to confuse gay sex with underage sex. It looks like their message is finding resonance with their "family values" base.

To them, the "travesty" and "disgusting" thing is the male part (otherwise why bring up Barney Frank?). It would be perfectly fine to them if it were underage girls instead of boys. That's what they mean by "family values."
