There is one major and striking difference here. Foley resigned as he certainly should. No excuses, no attacks on the page (Willey, Jones, Broderick) no finger pointing just resignation. Now look at Clinton, Franks, Kennedy, Studds, William Jefferson. Did they resign? Did they attack their accusers? Biiiig difference.
The one major and striking difference here, is that Foley may have broken the law. All others on your list, with the exception of William Jefferson, did not.
I don't believe any liberals would defend William Jefferson. Hey, Hastert was mad when the FBI raided Jefferson's office. Now it makes you wonder why he was so upset?

Can't agree. Clinton lied under oath (lost his law license) about his moral problem, Studds actualy had sex with a minor in the capitol, Kennedy was probably drunk driving when he probably committed at least manslaughter, Franks plead no knowledge of the prostitution ring and then fixed 33 parking tickets for the perp. All much heavier charges that email and IM contacts, but not one resignation. What a pattern. Oh! I forgot Rep. Kennedy drunk driving and hitting the road barriers this year. Did he resign? I forget.
I met Mr. Foley last May in his office in DC......I've washed my hands about 10 times for no reason...the guy is total scum......why compare political classes of crime? Doesn't this just go to prove the MAMBLA should be completely illegal in this country? Homosexuality is a bad disease,,,,I know that alot of you will come back and call me ignorant or try to convince me that its different when a child is involved, but when you have a man staring down the "crack barrel" of another man and he's thinking the hairy dirt star looks like cotton candy......something is inherently wrong...no matter how yo try to gloss it over with " Bob and Steve are life partners"...It not normal...Foley is scum....but how much different is he the the homosexual population as a whole? they are degenerates.

No, it's not filled up yet. Those I have put on Ignore are idiots and assholes who would rather have a flame war than disagree and argue with reason and points. You fall in that category, but I'm keeping you around for the sole reason that you're a professor at a university, and a fitting reminder of what ails our educational system.
