I agree with your comments about the actions of Foley, they are cut and dried.
It is the defense of Foley, or the treatment of Foley by the right that is the issue for the left, and what cover-ups there may have been that were politically generated.
Hannity is pissed off with the timing of the "outing" of Foley, thinking it is political.
He may be right, but wouldn't it be political to wait until after the election?
Face it, when an individual who represents the party does something, it damages or helps the entire party, and the party is going to do the maximum to try to enhance or spin down the effect on the voters.
