All Atheist's End up In Hell

We got evilmouse back.

Nah, It wasn't even close. Evilmouse (cute name for him -- I like your humor) was never really tempted to leave the "dark side". I am trying to decide if I should respond to his latest rant.

The thing is, I agree with a lot of what evilmouse (Ya, I like his new nickname) just said. The Catholic Church has always been way off center and a Pope created church, and the Protestant Church of the last 75 years is the Laodicean Church of Revelation who Jesus said "Because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth". So, I understand your lack of respect for the Church and many shallow pompous Christians. I myself have not attended a service in the Church I am a member of, for probably the last 7 or 8 years.

So let me ask you guys a question before I decide if I want to play Evilmouse's "stupid christian game".

How did you get to where you are in your belief system? How did you come so strongly to believe in something that leads you to a death without hope? Why do you defend it so? It would appear that someone bearing good news and the hope for a better eternal future would be received more seriously.

From the pain of realizing the promises of the bible ring hollow in reality, I've already in a previous post linked some of these. Only a fool continues to follow nonsense.

Death without hope is a christian myth toward the 'unsaved'. You believe in christ's hope, little kiddies hope on Santa, others have hope in Lotto, others have hope in being happy as a millionaire....etc.
Who said I despair of death?
Why do you defend it so?
To hopefully get you guys to think outside of closed cultist minds, to get you to think for yourself for once rather than think conditioned thoughts of the church.
It would appear that someone bearing good news and the hope for a better eternal future would be received more seriously.
Your good news is my fake news.

If for once you could see the bible and church as man's work, your thinking will change, but I doubt it will happen, your minds are LOCKED!

You are happy your minds are locked.

Christians metaphorically believe in their mind they are aboard a luxury cruise liner in a stormy sea, if they leap off they are doomed.

All life is like a choppy ocean, unless you are fortunately born with a silver spoon in your mouth.

What the church offers is friendships with a group, comradship, but it comes at a price, weird thinking and bias against non believers.

I remember once when employed I used to sell equipment to a company who were all 7th Day Adventists.
I was visiting their factory one day and remarked, "Where is Alex whom I used to deal with frequently on purchase orders?"
The reply, "He's gone into Africa as a missionary".
Whereby I instinctively let out a short laugh, forgetting these were all a bunch of bible bashas.
The result, they decided no longer to buy their product from our company.

That's religion, defend it to the death and seperate yourself from unbelievers.

This is the part I agree with you on. I am not defending religion. They are nuts and so are the Mormons. Seek God out yourself and don't let all the holy rollers get in your way. Don't let them make you believe that that is what you should be emulating.

Weird thinking and bias is out there for sure. But, that is not even close to being a True Christian and Follower of Jesus.

Yep
I prefer not to be captured where possible by group think and being a yesman to an organization.
I don't believe a real God wants humans to be chanelled into conformity, but that's what the church preaches.
If you look at human nature and history, there is no conformity other than that forced by the church.

The only conformity there should be, is good morals. Treat life with respect.
