ALARIC Trader: The Real Deal? PDT? Reliability ?

Beware, Alaric Customer Support is pretty poor! They hardly return telephone calls, I can see lots of questions on this forum left unanswered. No FAQ on its web site and seems that terms and conditions are subject to everyone's negotiations......
Hey Jim. Sorry you are experiencing issues. We do have a 24hr max time on all responses. Some times the market may go crazy and cause delays but we generally stick with the 24hr repsonse. If this is still not the case with you, please share in private the issue and we can try to see why it wasn’t answered on time. We try to answer every question asked here as well. As for FAQ, it is constantly being improved and new releases are coming every week. We are also constantly increasing our Live Customer Support. As for Terms & Conditions - they are standard for everybody. Just for your understanding- every change to T&C goes through a regulatory 1-month notification period. Hope we can make things right for you if we have wronged you somehow. Happy trading!
 
Currently using their service. So far it's good, registration did take over a week, funding took 2-3 days. No PDT rule and platforms work perfectly since they are using Sterling and Lightspeed.
The only thing I don't like is the fact that I have to call or email them to locate shares for shorting on hard-to-borrow stocks. That can be a pain in the ass for a short-biased trader who wants to jump in quickly and take an opportunity when a stock overextends.
Thanks for the feedback! We are working on pushing all HTBs and locates via the trading terminal but the way on the back stage is more complicated than the front-end :). However soon we will release the locates interface and things will happen alot faster.. Just fyi- all HTBs are usually loaded around 7am EST. If you want anything after 9:30 and then I was not available with tbe 7am batch, we have to go to the street to get the shares and in this crazy market it is often hard to find borrow however, as tou know we have around 5500 symbols on the ETB list which should cover most needs. The $2000 is regardless of platform so anyone you choose. Hammer videos are being released as we speak. We didn’t want to wait till those are done but truly understand that it is much easier than tutorials. Just a couple of weeks and both video channels and FAQ will have alot more info on it. HAMMER is dot.net so it is a lean and fast platform. It is not web based as it aims for performance. You will have to download it.

Do you offer leverage to accounts with 2000$

I have been trying to open a new account and your support has been very responsive and helpful responding in as quickly as 15 minutes upto the point of deposit, but after I did the deposit ,I have recieved a deposit acknowlegment mail and that my account opening has been sent to operation team . However now 5 days have passed and i have asked your support 2 times about my account opening with no response from them. I would like to know my status regarding the same.
