According to the donkeys at MSNBC, we are now running concentration camps.

I can answer your question now. Previous administrations did follow my advice, and by doing so greatly reduce the number of refugees coming across the border. I just heard Jeh Johnson speak on this, and he also said precisely what I said, almost using the exact same words. Sometimes the ignorance of people posting here is encyclopedic. If you're going to get your information from Fox News, From Trump (who has a mental disorder and is a con artist) , from his administration and from sites like Infowars, Zerohedge and Brietbart , you are going to remain ignorant of facts and be the prisoner of disinformation..

You mean we are going to remain ignorant of your point of view, and the narrative you are pushing. Many of those sites you mentioned (with the exception of Infowars, in my opinion) provide a clear cut version of the issue without the MSM bullshit you and your ilk push. Not always, but a good portion of the time. And since your narrative is essentially full of shit, we're OK with this.

You are correct. I did not correctly state what was on my mind. I was referring to the jaywalking conversation and had that on the brain.

What I meant to convey was that I am OK with the separation on illegal border crossing, but not on the visa overstay issue (to go back to our original conversation). If children were being separated from their family because of something simple like a visa overstay, I'd be in your corner. With illegal border crossings, which is nothing like jaywalking, I am just fine with it. Don't want to be separated from your kids? Cross at a normal border crossing and don't come illegally.

Apologies for the confusion.

I honestly only see a marginal difference. It's worse because they're not vetted and we don't know what they're bringing in; but if a visa overstay just gets the visa, and stays for years, then it's essentially a wash as to how they came in. Obviously discretion still needs to play a role. Don't want to throw some tourist into detention who just happens to overstay a couple of days.

Again, on the overstay I am completely in agreement with you. These people were vetted at one point. Folks coming in by "jumping the fence" as it were, are not vetted and obviously trying to skirt the correct process of getting into the country.

Yes. And it is willful on your part. Meanwhile I, and others like me, will continue to read your posts -- or at least many of them. We will not be ignorant of your point of view. And I suppose therein lies a chief difference between you, and those of like mind to your own, and myself and those that think as I do.

These folks must be stopped as they have been under both the Obama administration and the Trump administration. Little difference there. A huge difference , however, between how they were processed and how expeditiously they were returned to their countries of origin and what is happening now. Trump has intentionally creating a huge humanitarian crisis for purely political reasons. And it is at great expense and great unnecessary cruelty. Trump belongs in a cage; not these refugees. . .

I read your posts when I am unfortunate enough to come into contact with them. Don't think that because I ignore your other threads I don't know what you are saying there. I've seen enough of your horse manure I could probably create a parody Piezoe account and no one here would be able to tell the difference between the nonsense you write and the parody account.

Honestly, you have shown yourself to be so deranged over Trump's election win, your hate and disdain for the man so obviously blatant, that I put you in the category of Infowars - not trusting anything you say as it is always tainted with venom.

Ahh, no. Obama expedited things faster by just releasing illegals into the community -never to be see again- as a way of dealing with the back-log.

That's a solution if your only goal is to run out the clock until Hillary takes over. That is not necessarily Trump's plan or the best plan for the country.

So I'm watching the First Lady have a discussion with the people running one of these holding centers that are housing these children. I must say I'm impressed with the people doing this difficult job. All Hispanic, nearly all women, and obviously making every effort to make the best of things in an extremely difficult situation. Frankly makes me proud of the way these dedicated people are performing. Our disgraceful congress could take a lesson.
