Yes, the idea that the intensity of forest fire burn is driven by climate change. But don't worry, I don't intend to get drawn into a discussion with you or FC on it. I just got a giggle. I'd never dream of arguing with the fanatical on a subject like this.

I'm not fanatical. I know nothing about global warming. I am very skeptical of those who use it to further their goal of government control of energy.

All I know is what I've observed in the woods. A slow migration of some animals further north. A worry that if their climate changes too fast they might not be able to adapt.

I'm not a scientist. It just seems common sense to me if permafrost starts thawing, it is going to change the environment. Not saying it's good or bad. Maybe we'll be able to grow corn farther north. But before that, if land is burning that use to be frozen an inquiring mind would want to learn more instead of just laughing out loud.
