And Reagan did make America great again... which completely agitated the liberals

By placating the spoiled narcissist generation through borrowing and unsustainable spending?

Very great.

"During Reagan's presidency, the national debt grew from $997 billion to $2.85 trillion. This led to the U.S. moving from the world's largest international creditor to the world's largest debtor nation. Reagan described the new debt as the "greatest disappointment" of his presidency."

America became a "credit card tart" under Regan.

And under Obama the national debt grew from $10.7 Trillion to $19.5 Trillion - What is your point.

The point is, Regan started the rot of deficits don't matter and let the Dems fix it.

America's economy became quite like a Ponzi scheme under Reaganomics. Were there other ways to go for Obama? yes, but if all we care about is that soft brained retail stock investors can go long, you've nothing to complain about.

Obama coming into office with a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit,2 wars with hundreds of thousands of troops overseas and the worst economy since the great depression had a lot to do with that.

Yeah and all he managed to do was to increase the national debt by $9 Trillion.

Yeah and all he managed to do was to increase the national debt by $9 Trillion.

Less than Reagan and Bush and they came into office with a low deficit and budget surplus.

"Bush increased the debt 101 percent from where it started on September 30, 2001, at $5.8 trillion."

"Ronald Reagan: Added $1.86 trillion, a 186 percent increase from the $998 billion debt at the end of Carter's last budget, FY 1981."

Yeah and all he managed to do was to increase the national debt by $9 Trillion.

And you have full employment, a recovered market and optimism. There is a debt but the house is still standing.

It worked after a fashion, the patient is alive. Remind me again what the alternative universe Republican plan was going to be after 2008?
