But that doesn't necessarily mean its easier for some individual - especially one that might have connections to the cartels - to acquire a gun and then transport it openly across a rather porous border.
First, explain to us how mowing down millions of unborn children with doctor's instruments is a right.
It would make little sense to bring a gun from Mexico into The US.
Illegal guns are worth more in Mexico than The US.Illegal guns are harder to get in Mexico.It is harder smuggling illegal goods into The US than Mexico.
Bringing an illegal gun into The US from Mexico loses you money and increases your chance to going jail as smuggling into The US is much harder than smuggling into Mexico.Its much easier and cost effective to just buy one in The US.My brothers weed dealer can get me a hand gun,AK or AR in less than 3 hours (I would ever do that though)

It would make little sense? I don't think I can agree with you. If a cartel connected individual has a long rifle already, why would he ditch it to look for another in the US? He'd just bring it. Especially if he's getting in without having to worry about immigration.
As for the argument that "cheap and available US guns are flooding the Mexican market", that an argument for stronger border controls as well. I don't disagree that there are many laws that need to be toughened up on this side of the border regarding guns. But I've still - despite asking this forum several times - not heard of a law change that will actually work, wouldn't be duplicative, and wouldn't harm law abiding citizens at the expense of leaving them defenseless against criminals.
Reports have now "corrected" previous statements of other weapons found in vics' home. So you know, dude smuggled a sack full of weapons

This is common knowledge within the U.S. military, especially with military police & CID agents stationed at military bases in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Kentucky, North Carolina and Georgia...

Crap like the above, the United States has a serious problem with gun trafficking from state to state and from state to another country because it's a "big money business"...estimated at hundreds of millions of dollars per year in illegal profits.
It's not just guns...it's also military-grade equipment, C-4 plastic explosives, and detonator devices because it's very difficult for the cartel to buy these from within Mexico...reason why they recruit U.S. military soldiers to get the weapons from the United States and then illegally transport them south into Mexico with the help of U.S. military soldiers or associates of the cartel living in the United States that are working with U.S. military soldiers...active duty, national guard, reserves and veterans.
Unfortunately, although common knowledge within the U.S. military...the U.S. military goes to great lengths to keep arrests very quiet of its soldiers involved with the cartel especially considering the military CID is a branch associated with the FBI that also works with DEA.
