Are you sure about the penalty for those with preexisting non compliant insurance held through 2014?

That doesn't take into account the people who've signed up or switched using a state site or an insurance broker. From what I was told by the ins. broker you can still buy non compliant policies until Dec. 31st and they will be in force through 2014.

How much does your employer spend on your health care now? I'm assuming you compared the company plan to a low deductible gold plan, what was that plan? Unless your state is charging significantly more than the two states I've checked, Texas and South Carolina, you may have figured wrong.

No denner I didn't forget. You can go the the blue cross blue shield TX website and check my figures. For the plan I looked at the deductible was $1000 the gold 007 plan. If I made a mistake please point it out factually, but don't make assumptions because we have different political views.
