Quote from Lucrum:
So The Obama administration exempted the federal exchanges and subsidies in ObamaCare from federal health laws against kickbacks, fraud, and bribery and you blame the tea party? Which isn't even in control of any aspect of Obamacare.
It's common knowledge (I think) the ACA rollout is a screw up and Obama fucked up with the "you can keep your insurance" and too many back room deals were made to get it through, OK. All the opposition does is bitch and moan, tired of listening to it. They say small steps is the way to legislate, they are in control of the house and the dems are not happy either so now would be the time for them to fix some of the issues that you pointed out. But then that might really work and make the ACA actually work, so it wont happen. ACA is law and total repeal is very unlikely. The political climate is ripe for compromise for the two sides to actually work together and make this right or at least better. And like you I gotta take a dig at the opposition.
Obama really screwed up telling Americans they could keep their policy if they liked it. Think about it he has no control over what products the insurance companies put out there, it was a stupid statement even if the law allowed for people to keep their plans.
