A third New Mexico resident is claiming that she was physically abused by police and medical staff who exceeded their authority to search for drugs she never had.

I spent a little bit of time in district attorneys offices.
the problem is that the cops start lying their asses of in court right of the bat.
once they start lying to convict... then they can be compromised by money or power.
there are many good cops but there are also many bad cops... cops will tell you that.
also... I believe a boatload of the younger ones out on patrol or all hopped up on PEDs.

I'm from NM and work there often, in fact right now. When I was a young fireman in NM the fire station was across the alley from the police station, there was some wild shit sometimes. Once I saw a detective open the back door to a patrol car where a handcuffed guy was in the back seat and the detective started to kick the shit out of the guy, he must of kicked him in the head 5 or 6 times then he drug the guy out and took him in the station, wild shit. In high school a cop put a gun to my friends head, we were kids washing a car at the gas station where I worked, the cop had us kids standing with our hands up against the wall and when he saw me looking he pointed the gun at me. Good ol New Mexico land of entrapment. You don't want to get caught poaching there, they will take your vehicle and guns and personal property, especially if from out of state.
