    Visually Impaired Traders

I'm afraid anyone who is actually blind may prefer not identify themselves here. On the other hand, if I do a poll, I'm sure, mysteriously, everyone will be blind. Maybe it's better to ask if anyone knows any blind traders?

TD, I've considered trying to link price to sound too, using a chromatic scale, or a series of beeps, one representing each decimal place. This is more for the sake of curiosity than any practical advantage I'm aware of, except perhaps freedom from the screen. I sometimes wonder if I'm...

    Visually Impaired Traders

sure, i'm really curious too. i anticipated that question so i did some homework. there is text to speech software such as: JAWS for Windows, Screen Reader For OS/2, OutSPOKEN for Windows, Kurzweil 1000 OCR Scanning and Reading Software. there are also braille printers and...

Will an Oxford Graduate Degree in Pure Math get you interviews for salaried trading?

that explains a lot. just don't wear your education on your sleeve like a thug in the ghetto wears a heap of gold chains (or a rich brat caught up in the culture of status). that's not what knowledge is about, which it's evident that you understand. congratulations on your accomplishments...

agreed tgregg. what to do but pour myself a drink and soak up some sun. i guess i'll be on a leisurely bike ride until next weekend. are you trading today? do you even attempt to trade this data, does anybody? my fear is that after this rollout, it's still no better, judging from how long...

How is the lag on ES compared to Tradestation? I've read a lot of good opinions on Esignal. Ultimately, the data speed is paramount though. Does it beat TS?
