question for you guys. I really don't know the answer.

If a CCW permit holder pulls his weapon for one reason or another, and another person engages him in an effort to confiscate the weapon, and the gun discharges resulting in a death. Is it manslaughter because he drew his weapon and it resulted in an accidental death, or self-defense?

On the one hand you could argue that drawing the weapon ignited the incident. On the other hand, the shot was the direct result of the struggle that was initiated by the deceased person.

For a judge, she is very easy on the eyes. :)

Smart too, she knows the case is toxic sludge.

If I'm not mistaken, WHY the weapon was drawn in the first place would be very relevant here. If the weapon being drawn was legally justified to begin with then I'd think it's self defense.

It can vary from state to state to state but generally the shooter should not and does not want to be considered part of the original problem that led to a shooting. For example, a traffic incident that leads to a shouting match that leads to a physical scuffle. One party produces a deadly weapon and the other pulls a legally carried handgun and shoots the first guy. Since the shooter was part of the original "problem" in most states he's probably going to prison.

The odds someone will ever need to use a weapon for self defense are very low.
For the most part older people make better decisions than younger people.
From reading this forum it sounds like many here have a carry permit.
I doubt that any of the older guys here would of followed Martin and ended up in a fight/gun fight. It isn't hard to sense when someone is afraid or nervous. And to identify yourself to help avoid a conflict is also easy.
I don't think Zimmerman had the training or personality to do the job he was doing.
None of this will probably matter in the criminal trial but it will be considered in the civil case that is sure to follow.

Zimmerman is following Trayvon because he think in his mind he is criminal. He have no proof, he see no crime, but he judge guilty in his mind only. What is "suspicious" to walk around outside and is only 7:00 pm, not after the curfew? Why Zimmerman did not tell Trayvon; Hello, I am the neighborhood watch, you are living here?

It kinda depends on where you live, don't you think?

Denner poster, if George Zimmerman feel so afraid for "where he live", why he CHOOSE to live where he feel so paranoid? Or is George Zimmerman always paranoid?

In this case Zimmerman didn't need a gun. He got a bloody nose so he shot a kid, what a fucking pussy Zimmerman is, and all the self proclaimed badass's on here are on the pussy's side. I don't get it. If Zimmerman goes to prison he will be somebody's bitch.
