your trading hours

For example, HSI futures start trading at 9:45am Hong Kong time, which is 9:45pm EST.

I trade forex and a couple of future indexes.

Re the asian session: STW starts and hour before HK and SPI and Nikkei start trading 2 hours before HK. I think Kospi is similar to spi and n225. So you don't have to wait for HSI.

awesome. thanks for the replies. does anyone trade at night ever? as in an intranight trader?

Some of my strategies can be described as "intranight". Between 6pm and 2am eastern markets are predictable choppy. I use long options close to expiry to limit risk.

not so much how long you trade, but what hours? Do you get up very early? Or do you trade thtought the night?(seems choppy) do you just trade when ever you want? What's your daily routine? Let's keep all the hours EST to avoid confusion. Thanks

I normally trade forex from midnight to 8am. I sometimes swing trade stocks.

i used to trade forex at night, but found the US sesh is usually even better. besides, I'd then be wiped out for US trading (yeah, did both for awhile).
