believers are taught that jesus/god is omnipotent. would a loving god stand by and let bad preachers fleece people in his name?

we are told by abusers that taking hard drugs makes them feel better even though science can predict it will do long term damage. do you not educate them about the error of their thinking just because it makes them feel better?

if he chooses to do nothing in the face of evil there can only be two conclusions. either he wants the evil to happen or he is powerless to stop it. if he is the author of evil does he deserve worship or scorn?
