In a CDC press conference, one of the top doctors said they were testing if anti-viral medication already available in the market can be used to alleviate if not control Corona Virus. A vaccine is atleast, 1 year out and some companies doing research now are running tests on animals. That should take 6 months and another 6 months if there are no adverse results, test on humans infected. Heat is also reported to neutralize the Corona Virus so, if you catch the flu or the Corona Virus, drink a lot of hot liquids, hot tea, hot coffee, hot soup to flush it out. Prevention is more important. Wash your dirty hands before touching your eyes, ears, mouth. Use hand sanitizer when out in public places where you handle carts, handrails, door knobs, etc.

B.) It is a virus, but it is not the Influenza virus. It has a biological makeup different from the flu. Like how a flu vaccine will not protect against rabies, TB, herpes, viral pneumonia, and a plethora of others. There's a reason we have separate vaccines for all these different virii.
