A.) If the flu vaccine worked on it, don't you think they would have figured that out months ago in China?

B.) It is a virus, but it is not the Influenza virus. It has a biological makeup different from the flu. Like how a flu vaccine will not protect against rabies, TB, herpes, viral pneumonia, and a plethora of others. There's a reason we have separate vaccines for all these different virii. It is because they are all different virii.

Influenza and COVID share a lot in common. Both are single stranded RNA Viruses.
Both are infectious respiratory diseases which share many symptoms.
The flu vaccine does not work effectively due to the Mutative nature of the virus. Until they can pack every seasonal into a vaccine there is no chance to effectively vaccinate against it.
With Corona we may have a chance as it’s not Likely to be as mutative as influenza.

This year has been the worst virus I’ve had in my life. Nearly 2 months of coughing my brains out and mad amount of phlegm.

I never get Flu shots as they are worthless.
I’ll take my chances with whatever seasonal strain is out there and hope I’ve seen it before and have antibodies for it.

I've gotten a flu shot the last two years and felt a bit sick for about 10 days each time. I mentioned it to my doctor and she said it was coincidence and not related to the vaccination.

I think that when my body encounter the dead virus in the vaccine I'm getting a sort of muted immune response. Whatever.
