You are more likely to become a top Hollywood actor or popstar than profitable trader

Maybe you know the magic formula that makes some day traders trade off their sofa or from the beach in a relaxed state, knowing their stops before hand, and taking life easy, living a healthy life style. I have not hear such nor have I ever seen anyone practicing such life style and I am pretty convinced it wont work that way.

I know that kind of formula..

You obviously use ET for more than entertainment.

dude, GET A LIFE and spend your energy in a more constructive manner, you may find your life more interesting
I profited a lot from trading (long term trading).
Besides entertainment, one reads interesting informative posts about news, market rumors and some strategies, new ETFs, etc.

ETers are darn good copy-and-pasters.

You are a prop trader, so you have an agenda:
suckering more fools into prop trading.

Of course you pretend you have seen profitable daytraders.
Get an honest job where you don't have to lie,
immorality catches you later in life, when you get a child with an incurable disease don't cry the poetic justice.

Why would I care if anyone else is interested in becoming a prop trader? LoL. I don't own a prop shop smart guy.

Boy, I jumped off this thread far too soon and missed all this fun. Asia, I won't even question whether you have 20% annualized returns because I know it can be done because I've done it. I won't offer any statements or take any challenges because the only affirmation I need is depositing that check each month. I'm not suggesting you are seeking affirmation (I haven't read the entire thread so I don't know your motive) but I do have to ask why you even bother with the chitter, chatter useless BS of threads like this. ET is good for one thing -- entertainment. The man upstairs gave you the middle finger to use on people who don't believe you. :D

I did not back out, I clearly mentioned I want to do it exclusively through an escrow service, I have no interest to deal with lawyers, jurisdictions, or fly to his place to verify his identity as schizo in a a slightly childish fashion suggested. By the way, I offered the choice of escrow service to him first, simply in order for him to trust that I am not setting up any sort of shady bet. Through this service everything is handled, from signing a bet agreement, through the determination of the outcome by checking verifiable broker statements all the way to the exchange of the payout. What I am suspecting at this moment, and schizo hinted at it though he did not specify in detail, is that he is not in possession of his claimed 10 years of trading performance, broken down by day trades. I use Interactive Brokers for over 15 years now and can download each and every single trade confirm or broker statement off their website. Older ones are archived, something, I would expect, everyone is also doing for tax or other purposes. I would generally not reply to accusations such as yours but I cannot accept to be accused of wanting to back out of a bet (though schizo already disqualified himself by rejecting to send his full contact information AFTER I gave him notice and sufficient time to respond in order to change his mind).

Now where the hell was this guy the entire time I was here?

If you're so damn sure that daytraders can't make money, why don't you take the other side of my trade?

I must admit, I never heard of a 4 figure to 6 figure success story. Those who make money usually follow long term trends and have huge SLs and already have a shit load of cash.

have you heard of a 7 or 8 figure success story?

i know of one, being a mentor of mine, named Anek.

The other is CF, and i know more than a handful who make a good 6 figures annually.

So yes it can be done, and is being done. Most just don't outlast the learning curve. if you stay in the game long enough and take it slowly, your chances of succeeding vastly increase.

"documented" story. Please forgive us that hearsay may be a little hard to believe here at ET. If he had such success he may have published a book, written articles, won some trading contests (which I dont believe in, but its a start), anything?

P.S.: You saying "I know" is about as credible as me saying "I know for sure there is not a single one ....".

i don't know what else to tell you. you won't get anyone documented. the ones who achieve success are most of the time the ones who don't want or need to write a book or be in the public spotlight. they now value time more than money, and usually spend it with their family.
