Like I said, if you have complaints or personal problems with me, take them up in PM, because I'm trying to help people, and this thread is getting trashed by a bunch of idiots that I have to reply to, so again, if you are a man, PM me with your replies, if not, just go ahead.



And to everyone else, I'd post a chart, but there was only one trade, I'll get one out later with support and resistance indicated and some text commentary.
 
Sorry about this outbreak Volente, I still know this is your thread, but people just try pissing people off for no apparent reason, and then people love to jump on the side of the bad guy.

Porgie doesn't do anything but post his wonderful replies in caps and stir stuff up, just as in many other threads.

But again, I'm sorry about this, so many people out there determined to make others fail, that is why I take what others do to fail, and use it to my knowledge, and can't repay the knowledge I have now back.

Again, I'm making up the chart right now for today, and will post it for the newbies to show support and resistance.

"2K" you will definitely lose it. you cant even do any fancy hedges with 2K. trust me save up another 13K even if it takes 5 yrs to do it.

Mowery has a mentor who supposedly made a lot of money trading for a long time that he doesn't trade anymore. Thus, I don't think that will be an issue here...

Thank you... finally, something I can agree with.

Yes, I'm being directed by someone who... has indeed done very well for himself.

He is even impressed with me lots of times.

I agree that I'm not in a good situation to be trading. But I have been taking losses, but with the help I have recieved and a new way of thinking about trading, and taking emotions completely out. I understand it is possible for me to blow out this 2k account. But if paper trading... is any indication to anything about trading at all, then I should be fine.

If paper trading is absolutely pointless, then why suggest paper trading at all. I have posted all my paper trades. Those are trades I feel very confident I would have made if I could trade the whole day.

My only limitation is that I'm restricted to the last hour of trading.

If anything, that could potentially cause problems because I'd possibly be limited to one or two trades, and some days the market just doesn't like the last hour. So, that is my main problem.

I'm trying to not sound like I'm ... full of it, that I can trade and am even good. But I certainly believe I'm wise enough to not blow out a 2k account.

If I do, I'll accept that, and people will be right, but with the guidance of a mentor who helps me every day, I can't see this happening. If it did, my mentor would warned me by now, and he has a student who trades live who did well a few days, but now gets angry and emotional and i'm nothing like that.

So... again, I'd like it if people would hold off on the comments and criticism. I can't judge myself, because I haven't really traded... so I don't think it gives the right to anyone else to try and judge me on real trading. But I don't think everyone should judge me on the fact I have never lost any money on paper trading and have even had some amazing days, as I already admitted I don't feel up to a level to bring in 1k on one contract. I'm not even expecting much gains, I just expect at the very least to break even.
 
this boards gettign stupid. we got a guy on here talking about his mentor this and that thats never traded. this board is about strategies and entry pts
 
JMowery... most people lose money when they first start trading... especially futures. You may not. The veteran posters are basically saying "be cautious". There are a lot of people very confident jumping into the futures market. I am a successful stock trader who has been humbled by the YM, ES, ER2! Thought I had it down on paper as well. I look forward to your live account postings. If you succeed immediately, I'll be quite jealous of your success so soon and w/ so little money! Good trading to you... and the rest of us!

I'm not expecting success immediately... but I'm not expecting to fail miserably as most point out here.

The odds have always been against me, but these past few weeks, it's a complete 180, and the odds are shockingly in my favor for once.

I just dislike people that always keep bringing up the absolute worst that can happen. Because I'm fully aware, let me make that very clear. I know I can screw up, I know I can lose all my money, I know I can fail.

Alright, that is all i wanted to say, I don't need to see it 5000 and 1 times.

I know there are a lot of people that come into the markets expecting to make a lot of money, I don't care about money, I care about learning. Money is always a nice thing to gain, I'd appreciate making up the money I have lost while trying to learn, but if not, owell. I appreciate good criticism, but I can't stand people that just want to keep pointing out the worst case scenario, it doesn't help anyone at all, except for newbies that should already have known the risks, and will probably fail anyways.
