This is the core of the problem. They knew. They knew for years, decades in some cases and did nothing, said nothing. Suddenly everyone is horrified and outraged. You know who needs to have their asses canned? Everyone single one of these bitches who knew and turned a blind eye and now feign disbelief. Can't really do that now can they. How about the whole country? Left and right have been getting off the hook for years by blaming each other and claiming that they have no choice, the candidates are bad. It is a Punch and Judy show and if America was looking at another country cries of collective responsibility (and punishment) would reach the heavens.

But good people who have the brains and rhetorical talent to perform and win elections so rarely seem to step up in America anymore. There are no good people now? just high functioning psychopaths who 'virtue signal' for power?

The boomers finally wiped their hands of the notion of national shame. What is coming home to roost is not a few sex scandals but selfishness and myopic lives.

I believe I remember our very own Spike Trader being obsessed with O'Reilly's sexual harassment charges before the man stepped down or was let go. Post after post about the subject. But I can't, for the life of me, find any of his Matt Lauer posts, even now.
