Yahoo Finance's new website is now unusable...

He’s Turkish. Living in Germany.

One doesn't need AI to recognize certain repeat patterns put forth in the written words of those that, while perhaps smart... lack horse sense.

He gets a pass though because he's Chinese. That's why I'm nice. You can't assign what should be the attainment of "walking around sense" to someone that is void of any American experience outside of a one or two time visit to NYC. It just doesn't work that way.

Does he pick stocks? Maybe I should put him on my follow list and keep track of his market prowess. I know @Earth-Imperator failed that screen big time. Maybe the second time around he can attempt to impress me.

Good reasons not to trust any one source, even when it ''works'';
including broker bid\ask.
IBKR charts tended to be way low on ETF volume but consistent for swings LOL.
SCHW bid\ ask =ok, but off in a good trend + strangely assumes we want to sell on bid:D:D
Paper candle charts help me a lot, not real time , but easy to correct an error.
Old E-signal intraday charts went down, once, but 20day candles worked + bid\ask-intraday exit .
Usually enter on a limit + exit market......

@murray t turtle Your slashes are backwards. :confused:

That character is only used in computer code and other really esoteric contexts.

The regular slash, on a typical American keyboard, is the key that has the question mark.

Open a small account ($500) at Firstrade and park the money in SGOV (+5%) and use the site for option quotes.
It's a very plain site with NOTHING fancy but that actually makes it easier to use.
When I want a quick options view, that's where I go.

Never heard of Firstrade, or if I had, don't remember. Looks like they have been around for awhile, and they have a lot to offer. Why don't you use them for real trading?

Looks like they don't offer accounts to business entities, which is weird, because they do offer accounts to estates and trusts, and they offer IRA and Coverdell Education accounts...

I do use them for real trading but it’s just a small account I opened to test different strategies rather than mixing them in my larger accounts.
They have restrictions on options trading that make it unusable for my style. Example, if I want to do a covered call I want a limit order that will open both positions at once (buy-write). That can’t be done. :rolleyes:
There’s some restrictions on rolling options also.
No commission on options trading is nice but not worth it with the restrictions.
Other than that I’ve had no issues with them for a few years now.
I like that the platform is so “plain/simple”.

OK;
but really depends on market direction + context.
99 +/acres is the way its done in USa; + meaning 99 plus or minus acres.
Real common usage + legal usage on USa real estate signs. Thanks
