wtf: Obama Calls For ‘Day Of Prayer" over shooting.

Quote from Free Thinker:

hey. speaking of no clue. i am not the one getting upset that an invisible old guy in the sky doesnt act like reason would tell us he should. religions have a cure for that. suspend reason.

The invisible and the non- existent look very much alike.” ¯ Delos Banning McKown

I'm not upset, you're the goofy MF who started this thread and cannot accept the answers given.

Quote from Free Thinker:

the free will argument is just something religions dreamed up as a way to rationalize gods inaction in the face of evil. nothing more.

“Do not hide behind the cowardly evasion that man is born with free will, but with a ‘tendency’ to evil. A free will saddled with a tendency is like a game with loaded dice. It forces man to struggle through the effort of playing, to bear responsibility and pay for the game, but the decision is weighted in favor of a tendency that he had no power to escape.” ~Ayn Rand
Bah, you don't have your heart in it today. And I'm surprised at your use of Rand's quote, it's flawed imo.

Quote from Free Thinker:

is your god a coward? these people knew they could get hurt and ran. your god knows bullets could not have hurt him yet he refused to help.

(Remember, i am bringing this thinking down to your level, not mine)

Richter already answered that question.

But let me ask you think. If you really want God to intervene and stop ALL evil from happening, then you no longer have a choice. You dont get to vote for someone like Obama. You dont have a choice on going to church or not. You dont get to pick your religion. You dont get to eat what you like. You dont get to have pre-marital sex. You have to give your money to the church. You are not even allowed to look at a woman with lust if you want to or not, plus a million other sins you enjoy daily.

You still want God to intervene and not give you a free choice, "free thinker"?

Apparently when God made the first bacteria he made an error that allowed a tiny amount of psychotic mammals to be born from time to time 3.8 billion years later. Let's cut him some slack huh?

Or perhaps during the 3.6 billion years that life existed as single-celled organisms the devil inserted a bad gene in there.

Whichever it is, if everyone carried guns like God intended, maybe this guy would not have been able to kill so many sacred animals.

Come to think of it, this thread, if it catches on, will be crushed by the arrival of the Stu v. jem steamroller anyway.

lol. your mind is a thing of amazement. instead of making excuses for gods inaction why not just use the "satan did it" excuse?

Well don't let Jem in, deal with this yourself....

Quote from Ricter:
And etc. All those would be interference with Man's free will.
If God was omnipotent and It wanted man to have free will, nothing need interfere.

Quote from Ricter:
It does not follow that He "wants" evil to happen because He allows Man the freedom to do evil (or good).
It follows that were God omnipotent and all loving, It must be able to arrange for both.

Quote from Ricter:
If God prevented all evil then Man would not have free will.
Allowing two choices from many possibilities is not Free will. That's false dilemma.
There is no real free will. Only non-rational religious claims of it.
If there were no evil there would be no evil to prevent. There are endless numbers of things 'man' is naturally prevented from doing. Why shouldn't evil be just one more.

God interfered with Man's free will the day he kicked them out of the garden. You do remember why he kicked them out, right?

Holy Crap what theology did you just spew, BLT?

Good sandwich, but one would be hard pressed to find a more backward-assed theology.
