I am not the best to comment on java. I am migrating from Feb TWS because of problems with basket orders. This may have to to with the new basket format, but the old format was working up till last week.

I could not find the java version that was mentioned in this thread so I went for the latest beta (build 1.6.0_10-beta-b25). I am running TWS 885.7 and it seems ok from the limited testing I have done.

Done, my hot key issue seems to be fixed for the moment anyway.

"Trades" window still pops up during log on and I still can't reopen the "Trades" window once it's been closed.

I upgraded from 885 to 886.5, based on your favorable post. LOL. I wasn't having any problems with 885 by the way. This 886.5 better be good.

Given IB's reputation with upgrades, I should probably start looking for another web site now.
