What about Chris Carajohn?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

never heard of him, who is he?

Tony Bruan's brother in-law. Worked up at the PTJP offices. The guy was the biggest cat in the jungle by a factor of 10. Better ask somebody...

exactly, was. PTJP was a joke, information arbitrage, when it ended guys that made millions couldnt put together 2 cents.

What is Carajohn doing now that the IPOs are dead? I'm sure he's still getting 'the call' but, not sure how much that is worth these days?

How do you make a burger? What would that reveal about a job candidate?

I'd always use this test to gauge pattern recognition ability. Solving it in under five minutes is great. Under eight minutes is o.k.

that was a fun puzzle. (the trick is to use the 'computer' against itself. ;P)

i will tell him also that i defended him........from a few negative guys.......that sound like they had a tough month trading.....m

classic! when you can't defend the undefendable go on the attack and personally attack those who dare bring up facts which can't be refuted.

afb and ptjp were not worldco..........worldco was a seperate co....and pond scum is just a hit below the belt that as you know does not deserve a reply......m

no, but the bruans not only owned PTJP, they got nailed for co-mingling funds and and people/equipment.

Echo pays weekly. Hold brothers pays every 2 weeks I think. Walter had the highest cost on married puts on the street and made guys buy a 1000 at time even if they could only trade 300 shares at a time. Worldco rates were more then Andover, Carlin, and Echo plus for a while he had a ticket fee. Also Walter charged like a penny a share if you did a lot of volume in 02 plus he wanted you to leave 25k with him plus he wanted a % of payout.

Actually they required 1500 shares on married puts until the latter part of '02. And many people had to start with fees much higher than a penny. Doesn't Assent pay every 2 weeks also? Almost everyone does.

BTW, Walter did not invent bullets (married puts). They were created by a former CBOE MM. Just thought I would clear the air on that.

thank you for doing so. that didn't sound right to me either.

Quote from megadon:

i recieved 66 percent of all money owed me.....so did everyone else thats a fact......as a clearing member the dtc held back other money for regulatory purposes....so what am i really waiting for 5 grand...if that.......if walter wants it he can have it ........my gift to him...m.........you guys are so funny really .......the guy does not deserve those uninformed quick snyde remarks.......say somthing really intelligent if you say anything at all ............do you say the same things about george bush or bill clinton......m

It wasn't about regulatory matters that they witheld 33%. If you ask others to be fair, then be honest. They withheld 33% because, by their own admission, they are in a tax dispute with the state. Add that to the fines they had to pay, and they may not have enough to pay people the final 33%. No doubt getting 2/3 was waaaaay better than nothing, but there are people who are not rich that have been screwed out of several thousand (many had $25k, so they've lost over $8k) that represented a good chunk of change. Some of these people had not even been at Worldco long. And of course, some rich, big swingers and group leaders had much more than that in their accounts.

ok here we go .....walt was doing mps before even 87......he popularized them for sure....but he did them ....for 10 yrs 1st......when their was no competion.......any comingling was an oversight with a firm that big......every firm gets fined.......and their are many many firms that have closed where no one recieved anything......at all big firms too.....you have to be objective when trading a stock or investing in a firm its the same thing...............walter protected you guys as best he could for a long long time.....kept you in the cocoon called worldco......and now your in the cold hard world .............but at least you were given a boost by a guy whe really wanted you to do well ...........and still does ..........and his new cos are going to be great........walter was the best and still is .....i know hes on the beach today hanging out with some of the most powerful familys in america ..........relaxing under an umbrella......m

and yes now everyone pays every 2 weeks but walt did it 1st.....no doubt......he turned up the pressure on the other firms to do it................worldco was wall sts 1 atm..............m
