Wokeness gone bad: A&E loses half its viewers.. literally.

No I mean if you tuned in at 8PM it was streaming live at 8PM from a cop on duty?

Yeah. It was mostly the cameramen that followed them around. If you were watching, they'd pan around and you'd see a clock on the wall, or on a bank sign, wherever. The clock would say 9:30 PM for example, and if you are in same time zone, and you looked at yer watch, it would also say 9:30 PM.

They used to follow Pasco Co FL. Wish I was still living there at the time, because most of their footage came right from the area where I lived, near U.S. 19. Had I seen them at the local Wawa or Walmart on the show, I would have jumped in my car to get there and hover in the background while recording it, just to be on the TeeVee. Hehe

I wondered this too. As usual, the answer: "It depends." works here as well.

To make sense of this legal quagmire, it helps to know that Live PD is not exactly live.

Did “Live PD” Let Police Censor Footage?

It is usually live. The host Dan will specifically mention what events occurred before the live broadcast. If you watch an episode after it’s initial showing, there is a notice in the corner that it was pre-recorded.
