Yes, its been awhile since I simmed ES, maybe like 3 years ago. So the problem is probably fixed now.

If that's the case, then trade freely then. Sorry for the confusion.

Sounds like you have a method that will work. Exploit it carefully and fast as you can.
 
I just took a long trade..you are good luck..it lasted a couple of minutes for 2-ticks...and this is not the AM.

P. S. I am depending more and more on my custom combined indicator...if the others line up AFTER it signals then my trades "have been golden one-order trades" without thinning for 2-ticks. It's when I get greedy that there are "thinning" trades.

just got another...this is just pumping action and not a trend that I could learn to ride...I will know that I am good when my ticks taken will exceed the market range.

They say anything can be automated...I do not think this can as I am looking at several factors all lining up intuitively. I pass on more trades than I take.

P. S. I have taken 69 ticks out of the market today. This by far has been my best day. But I am tired and have been at this 3 hours before the dow opened today.

So I just got done reviewing my trades. So I made many mistakes but am up $750.76 after commish with a daily loss limit of $500.00. I am off to good start. I never had to enter more than 2 contracts and do not recall dipping below $300.00 before thinning occurred. Spectre if what you say is true then I will not trade my system during the hours that I trade your system because that is range expansion time and my system does better in chop!

You may have given me one of the best favors of my life. We shall see. I cannot see the fricken MA's just now cause its a tick chart. I could put it on replay I guess. Spectre I owe you one if all works as you say...remember that. There is a code amongst traders and I will let you know how it goes for me and my system ok?

Here's is one of my algo's that did a look back 30 days. It uses same principle but couples volatility for entry validation.
