Winning, Losing & BetSize trading the ES

Ask me in 1 year how many guests and members here benefit from this archive?

"because the YM leads the ES"...

No, it does not.

"Look I am not a novice trader and going live does not mean jack to me."

If that is true, then your posts mean jack to everyone here. It is actually insulting to this community.

I have been here 1½ decades? I have traded longer than you. I need to understand the DOM first.

If you have not figured out DOM reading for 15 years, (your 1½ decades), then why do you keep trying? Maybe there is another angle you could try? I briefed through that video that was posted, and it seemed way too risky... 5 contracts here, 10 there...They were throwing around their leverage like it was someone else's money. Oh, wait, it WAS! Doh, my bad.

Yeah..martingale kills...Use a daily stop limit with your broker or a stop loss on your trade...

Hey Electric Savant, I use a single tick system that sometimes goes to three ticks but my focus is the single tick system. I find when I double and lose a few, I no longer have enough margin, say for 8 contracts.(1, then 2,then 4,then 8. Doesn't happen often but happens. So the system collapses. Any suggestions??
Last week I was red hot, hitting 93% win, 2% tie rate and of course 5% losers. Sixteen hundred contacts(using 3 contracts per order) netted after all costs, $1968.00.

I have not been trading the ES...I have used charts all these years and wasted much time in Forex.

ES, try it with your own money, and see how it feels. Just do it right now. Come on! The futures on CME are open RIGHT NOW. Just do it!

Well, good luck in your scalping endeavor in sim. I pray that you go live soon with your own money, so you can feel what it is REALLY like.
