The Schwab executive I spoke with agreed to keep mine open for a period of time with no minimum requirements so that I can see if they get things fixed sufficiently for me to resume trading with them. That is a good move on their part because, with no real cost to them for me to continue using some features of SS Pro, they may be able to salvage a client who spends a fair amount each year in commissions. They know the chances of getting me back if I close my account and leave completely are low. If only they'd shown that much gumption before all of this happened to begin with ...
