Will they please stop publishing great books!

Hey nitro, thanks for the contributions here, :). When I have time in the future I'll come back to this thread. There are definitely subjects listed I'd like to read up on too.

Agreed, were it up to me, id have read these books already.

Have "The last hours of ancient sunlight",
by thom hartmann on the to-read list, might have something to say.

I am half way done reading this book. I can't tell you how I wish that more books like these were published. This is about what is happening in mathematical research today and the author assumes you won't be scared by real mathematics.

If you want a great book that is not shy and 95% of normal people can follow, run and buy this book. Read it ten times if you don't get it at first. It is truly worth understanding.

If you buy a lot of books, you may find something worthwhile at Edward R. Hamilton. I have purchased a literal ton of books from him over the years.

I usually buy them used from Amazon, unless I absolutely have to have it new, like the one above.
