Trump condemns Russian attack on Ukraine Former US President Donald Trump condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine on Sunday night. In a speech at an annual meeting of leading conservatives (CPAC), the Republican called the attack "terrible." Earlier this week, the former head of state was criticized by a number of Republican party members and President Joe Biden after he called President Vladimir Putin's military actions in Ukraine "genius" and "pretty clever". “As everyone understands, this horrific disaster would not have happened if our elections had not been rigged and I was president,” said Trump, who despite a lack of evidence continues to insist that his rival won the past presidential election through rigging. Now the former president emphasized once again that such a confrontation never came under his rule. He therefore called Biden weak and said he got on well with Putin during his tenure. "The problem is not that Putin is smart, because of course he is smart. The real problem is that our leaders are stupid, so stupid," Trump said.
This looks like another flop, another Vietnam or Afghanistan like flop. Even worse as those people are half brothers.
Zelensky is also proving not to be another typical politician brave to fight a war while out of range.
I was also surprised by the invasion, I didn't think Putin was so stupid. And I definitely got it wrong on the markets, not expecting that rally.

Former US president Donald Trump has condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and says he is praying for Ukrainians, marking a sharp shift of tone from earlier this week when he praised Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Trump delivered his remarks at a conservative political conference in Florida, a few hours after the US and allies announced sweeping new sanctions.
The sanctions will kick some Russian banks off the main global payments systems and limit the ability of Russia’s central bank to support the rouble.

Earlier this week, Trump irked some Republican party members by describing Putin’s actions in Ukraine, where cities have been pounded by Russian artillery and cruise missiles, as “genius” and “pretty savvy”.
Addressing an adoring crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Saturday, Trump expressed empathy for Ukrainians and this time praised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, calling him “brave” as he stays in Kyiv, the capital.
“The Russian attack on Ukraine is appalling. We are praying for the proud people of Ukraine. God bless them all,” Trump said.
Trump also used his pulpit at CPAC, which touts itself as the world’s largest conservative gathering, to bash Democratic President Joe Biden, saying Putin took advantage of his being “weak” to attack.
The real problem is that our leaders are dumb, dumb. So dumb.
Trump linked the invasion to the US 2020 presidential election, a fixation of his, again falsely saying that fraud was to blame for Biden’s victory.
“As everyone understands, this horrific disaster would never have happened if our election was not rigged and if I was the president,” he said, to which a woman in the packed audience responded: “You are the president!”
Trump also cited Russia’s invasion of Georgia under George W Bush and Crimea under Barack Obama before declaring: “I stand as the only president of the 21st century on whose watch Russia did not invade another country.”........

What I really like about Trump, he'll call anyone who's not his cultist asslicker a 'RINO', but you watch this turncoat turn as soon as Putin is on the back foot.
He'll disown Putin.
Trump was all his life a coward, he went never to army and now wants the pretend he is the "hero" who can save the world.
Trump is just as bad as Putin. The only thing Trump is interested in is making money, even at the expense of his own children if necesarry.
If tomorrow he thinks he can make more money by being Democrat, he will switch and replace the word Democrat in Republican in all his rants against them.
