Basically yes, like US invades any country around the globe it considers security threat

Imagine Mexico get weapon and money from Russia to get back Texas. Or better make sure US becomes 50 different independent states
What does Russia have to offer to the invaded people? Oil? Gas? Poverty? Do you realize that Russia is the only world's existing empire the remnant of Czar's regime?

The sanctions I heard in the car radio is to prohibit any US person and entity to invest in those two regions. I don’t know about you, unless you are a Ukraine/Russian-American, I don’t think I ever go there. Russian has veto in security council, China will back them so it is a meeting about nothing.

Biden is a feckless moron. Completely toothless.

President Zelensky of Ukraine, in a 2am address to the nation just now: "It’s very important to see right now WHO OUR TRUE FRIEND... and who will keep scaring Russia with words."

I am pretty sure the search for "true friends" will be futile.

This is an actual quote. This is NOT made up.

Reporter: Will sanctions deter Putin?

Kamala Harris: Within the context then of the fact that that window is still opening, although, open, although it is absolutely narrowing, but within the context of a diplomatic path still being open.

sounds like Yes Minister sequel.

Would Putin pull this shit if Trump were in office? Heĺl fuck no.

Are you kidding? Trump was Putin's Butt buddy and the joke of the world. Putin would have invaded weeks ago with someone so incompetent in office. Biden is at least competent and following a strategy if you read foreign policy news. Biden knows way more than any of us and gets daily intelligence briefings and is following the best way forward based on the input of 100s of state department, CIA, NSA, and Pentagon experts. If you call him a moron than you are calling a large part of the American intelligence community morons. Somehow I think the morons are more likely to be on this discussion board.

By the way Putin has just announced he is sending troops into eastern Ukraine on a "Peacekeeping" mission. Where have we heard that before? You think there might be some kind of provocation that "forces" him to have to fully invade the rest of the country? Precisely what Biden talked about.
