Obama's sanctions didnt do anything it was the cost of oil, and what rightie here said that debt as a percent of gdp doesnt matter? we have been the ones comlpaining about the debt the whole time.

Putin isn't going anywhere unless he decides to, and he might decide to. He has pancreatic cancer (or so the word is in Moscow), so he might just decide to get out of dodge - and run things from behind the scenes thinking he can quell the west's resistance if new blood comes to the front.

As for the KGB, they no longer exist in that fashion - and the FSU answers to him. He made sure of that. No one will be tapping him on the shoulder.

The popularity polls that are being released are false - the one thing that upsets the people on the ground is inflation. Right now the pensioners (the main support to Putin) can't buy meat.

Actually, he made Obama look the fool many times - Syria, Iran, Ukraine, etc. Remember his op-ed in the NY Times? LOL!
